William Kimber, Lambert enlisted in Canada for the RFC in 1917, was sent to England before joining No. 24 Squadron in France in 1918. He compiled a record of nearly 20 confirmed victories and was awarded the DFC. Illustrated with photographs, drawings, and maps. Appendices list Lambert's summary of air - combats, aircraft flown in combat, and the No. 24 Squadron roster.
