When big George Lumsden joined up - sixteen stone of bone and muscle, over six feet tall, but with the heart of a mouse and a brain like a peanut - the army wondered what use a man like this would be on a blazing desert battlefield.
It took a little Cockney, Private "Spider" Webb to show how to light a flame in big George and turn that massive body into a tremendous fighting machine. From then on George was like a huge bulldozer, driven by a little man at the controls, crushing everything that stood in his path!
