In 'SPITFIRE MK. V' Douglas Bader leads 616 Squadron over France in his MK.V Spitfire.
Renowned for his indomitable spirit, Douglas Bader overcame the loss of both legs in a flying accident to become one of the RAF's most celebrated fighter aces. During World War II, he claimed 22 aerial victories, four shared, six probables, and 11 damaged. In August 1941, Bader was shot down over France and captured, spending the remainder of the war as a prisoner.
